I’m headed to California for the next two weeks. I’m posting these details so you can follow me and try to hurt me, break into my home and steal all the valuable stuff that I don’t own, or make travel suggestions and try to link up with me.

July 14th-17th: Spending a weekend teaching and resting at the Brandeis-Bardin Institute, one of my favorite places of the world. Very cool history with this place. Most of the land used to be a ranch owned by James Arness, of “Gunsmoke” fame. He passed the land on to Shlomo Bardin, the founder of the institute along with his head rancher, a badass cowboy named Johnny, who’s still working the joint. Also, this building:

Do you recognize that? That’s the home base of the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers.

July 17th-20th: Heading to San Francisco for a few short days, trying to enjoy my favorite city as much as I can. I know I wanna hit up Isotope Comics and relax and see people. That’s all I have planned right now.

July 20th-22nd: I’ll be driving down the Pacific Coast Highway from San Francisco to San Diego with my dear friend Noam. Noam looks almost exactly like Ben Stiller. In fact, he once got pranked on the Jimmy Kimmel Show for it. Here is a video of that:

See how annoyed he gets in that video? That’s what it’s like for him to be around me for more than 7 minutes or so. We’ll be spending two days together in a car. I can’t wait.

I don’t have anywhere specific I want to check out other than pretty things and the Hearst Mansion at the moment, but I’m crazy excited for this.

July 22nd-26th: San Diego Comic Con!

If you have suggestions or thoughts about any part of my little journey, especially my time in San Francisco or the road trip, please do leave them in the comments.

This is a picture of Nero from Star Trek on a waffle. I found it by googling the words “dolphin cuddling”. For serious.

How about that Internet, huh?
